　　加拿大统计局在其最近的劳动力调查中报告称，5月份劳动力增加了39,800个工作岗位，其中大部分是全职工作。上个月有超过135,000人找到了全职工作。所有年龄组的女工都取得了领先。

　　道明银行经济学家詹姆斯·奥兰多（JamesOrlando）在评论中说：“随着我们开始填满露台并为逾期假期上路，雇主继续寻找工人以满足日益增长的需求。”“这使职位空缺率达到创纪录水平，清楚地表明加拿大经济正在超越充分就业。”

　　根据加拿大统计局3月份的职位空缺和工资调查结果，失业人数与职位空缺的比率达到了1.2的历史最低点，突显了雇主在吸引和留住员工方面面临的劳动力供应压力。简而言之，加拿大雇主找不到足够的人来工作，这个问题可能会一直存在。

　　“随着人口老龄化，未来几年退出劳动力市场的退休人员数量将超过进入劳动力市场的新员工，”加拿大会议委员会的经济学家肖恩·亚当斯(SeanAdams)写道。“随之而来的参与率下降将导致失业率保持在低水平，即使加拿大经济实现了有限的就业增长。这对求职者来说是个好消息，但可能会让企业越来越难找到员工。换句话说，目前的劳动力短缺可能只会变得更糟。”
